I have a Carver 4 bow square tube bimini on my deckboat. The plastic pieces that are held in place with set screws will move around some. I was thinking about resetting them where they go and pop riveting them like the factory end pieces. Should I drill and rivet them on each side or just put one in the screw hole? Thanks Cliff

I believe the least amount of holes the better. This being the case there could also be an issue with the size of screws and the rivets available. You need to find rivets which fit the screw holes but this being plastic fittings could also cause the plastice to split. What about using a longer screw and drill a hole then screw the longer screw through to hold it?
