Freeze,<br /><br />I am assuming you have a temperature guage. Without knowing what those guage positions mean as far as true temperature goes, it is just an indicator.<br /><br />Idle does not present a load, so the temp would be lowest. Wide open throttle is a light load, also, as long as you are in your RPM range, which you are.<br /><br />Mid throttle is the highest load setting.<br /><br />The noises you describe sound normal to me.<br /><br />Glad she's running good.
