This is the casting deck of my 15' fiberglass boat. It's plywood sandwiched between a top and bottom layer of fiberglass. I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to fill / repair the hole and make the repair sound, without replacing the entire deck.
You can slow the rot around the hole if you chuck up an allen wrench in a drill that you can hang on to and chew the wood back between the glass and then fill it with a PB..
Scott, can you elaborate a little on the stepped plug solution? I'm new to all this and would like to get a little better idea on how that solution is implemented.
