I have 3126 cat mechanical engines
When I start the second engine the alarm stays on
Anyone know what would cause this?

it's probably the GREAT LOW COST PROVIDERS part that Cat has been using for years and claiming it's American made. or maybe a shorted harness. I've seen many at the factory that came in bad but their inspectors says they are 'GOOD TO USE".

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... My guess is one of the alarm switches has gone Bad,......

The over heat switch, should be around the Temp sender, at the T-stat housin',.....

The low oil pressure switch is probably near the oil pressure sender for the gauge,....

Donno what other alarms it's got,.....

Find the switches, 'n unhook each one, one at a time, till ya find the bad one,....
They work, by groundin' the alarm circuit,....
