Re: ***** cat problem

Death by antifreeze/glycol is not a humane way to deal with the problem. I may be cold blooded at times, but that is one thing I won't do. I just hate to see anything suffer. Especially those that had their boat intruded upon by a cat. That will make anyone suffer! :D

You sir have some serious issues with seemingly unending sarcasm and serve a rare example that freedom of speech is not a completely good thing. One could only hope for the sake of anyone that has to live with or around you that it is limited to your unpolished internet ramblings.

I know that you are suggesting cats for food in jest, But I think that is a great idea. But, we need to feed our own people here in the US, before we solve the worlds hunger problem. Shocking idea you say? People in other countries eat what we consider to be "pets", so why not do it here? That would keep with the whole "multicultureism" (SP?) theme that all the libs are so fond of,
and show the other nations that we respect their beliefs and customs. Besides, that would kill 2 birds with one stone, solve the hunger problem in the US, and the overpopulation of cats that we have. Fillet of feline, anyone?

PS I have heard that cat topics like this are bad here, dont know why, just what I have read. Im saying this post will finally set someone off. ;)

I unwrapped the boat this morning. No cats aboard. No rats, mice, squirrels, chip munks, moles or any other rodent for that matter. Told ya the sardines in the neighbours boat works best!

I was very serious about eating cats!
From most here on this thread the only thing I have seen is creative ways to kill cats....
Why waste 'em?
I'll bet you would eat a cat if you were starving....
I see recipes for squirrel & such....
Killing them for the sake of killing them is not only wrong morally, it is illegal....
Sounds like you guys relish the idea.....
I'd wager that you were the types to torture them as kids.....
What's up with that?.....JK

Morally wrong? I suppose to the majority of the people. To me? No, not really. I dont go out cat hunting, but when there is one destroying my property, well thats different. As far as it being legal, its not for me, but it is for the animal control folks. If they pick up a cat(which they dont have time for, with all the stray dogs)and it doesnt get claimed within a week or so,the needle it does get.

Re: ***** cat problem

I don't think eating cat or dog is morally wrong, not that I would but if I was starving and those are my only choices. You bet your arse I'll eat them instead of dying of starvation. We, in the land of plentiful, considered non livestock animal to be not appropriate for eating but elsewhere in the world, it's not a problem. Everything is fair game if you don't have any food. There are several states, don't remember which, that allows cat hunting. Any cat that's not on a leash or within sight of it's owner is considered stray and can be shot.

Re: ***** cat problem

Healthy stray cats (dead ones) get to be teaching aids for the medical community. Their hides were being sold overseas, but it was considered wrong by some of our citizens. Guess the fur was too soft for their stuffed animals or coats. So now what happens to the hides?

We can't control illegal immigrants, but we are able to deterimine and control what products are sent out. Go figure..........
