I got up again a month later to hit the same fishin hole in Silverton Falls area. As I was backing out of my driveway, I heard a thud under my tire. I thought I ran over my safety rock. You know all old trucks have a safety rock under the rear tire just in case..( I had a steep driveway and at one point my truck landed itself across the street, so I Have a safety rock now and still do..) Anyway, I just had to look in up my driveway and there layed a dead smashed tire tracked cat. Oh my god her cat, another male named Fredrick.. Ya the same Lady.. I couldn't believe it.. Well I just kepted going and I would deal with it when I get home.. I get down the road about a half a block and you guessed it I hit or knick another cat. But this poor guy was still alive. I must of just knicked it. No problem keep going and just think Fishing... As I'm in my own world of fishing thoughts, I see 2 cats going at it, up the street and I slow down, concidering how the morning has already started.... Well I guess, becuase I'm not a cat thinking person, who would know... Cat number 3 across the street decided to join in on the fight and it ran out in front of me.. Yep, he had tire marks on him/her, didn't stop to check. Instant death... I kept going.... Now I'm almost out of the full neighborhood intering the outskirts of town and what do I see a dog chasing a cat in this yard, me being very careful, but not enough, slow down. NO... that cat ran out into the road with the dog right on it's tail, does a flippin "U"ee right into the side of my tire.. The dog I missed, he was smart enough to stop.. ME, I'm thinking that thought,"Every Dog Has His Day"," but this dog had some help".. NOW, I did not run over that cat, The Cat ran so hard into my tire I think it snapped its neck.. The dog was kind of funny as it sniffed the cat and walked off.. I guess you can say fluffy was no fun anymore.. Now I want to call it a day when it is only 6am in the morning, but that thought of trying to catch that 16" trout, that has been aluding me for about 2 months quickly took over.. So now my train of thought has came fully back to fishing.. That is when Cat number 5 did a "Fye Rye" into my front upper finder and layed out across my hood.. Don't even ask, I have not a clue how it got that high. Maybe it thought it was a bird or trying to catch a bird.. All I know is that i went home.. The dead cat in the driveway was gone with a nasty note on my front door. Thanking me for the quick death of Fredrick.. I get a cup of coffee and sat down when my hubby( who is now my EX) comes out and looks at me.. Well, why are you home?.. I hit 5 cats and I had enough.. He said this, "Well, what do expect on Friday the 13th".. "Well. sence your home I'm going to play Basket Ball with the guys." Just go for it." Have fun with the kid.". Why not, fishing was out of the picture completely.. He goes outside and see's the truck and ran back in.. "What in hek did you hit?" "There is blood all over the front of the truck", "what did you do hit a deer?", No honey, a big bad cat... Ya, could you clean it for me.. Bless his heart he did.. Saturday was much better...

Believe it or not My truck is 1980 toy I am the second owner, it has all the origional paint and that dent in the front is the only one that I made sence I have had the truck in 11yrs. I do all my own work and repairs, including Driveline, brakes, u-joints, tune-ups, and oil changes. I can do 5 vehicals at once.. This is what I don't do, Internal motor or tranny's repairs, that way I stay out of trouble. I know a little about electrics too, but only on must need base's. I hate clusters and I know servos and relays can really cause alot of confusion without the right test equiptment.. I am also smart enough to stay away from these new cracker boxes they call cars.. I've owned a 1955 chevy to 1967 lemans plus more. I truely hate to have to work on cars, but the cats for some reason that year did take a beating.. But my neighbor beat my record, he hit 20 cats in various places around town..

P.S. I do infact like cats.. as long as they stay out of my vehical and boat.. I went fishing today and just to let you know I will be again working on my boat motor. The nut backed off and broke the Flywheel key again.. At least it lasted for 4 trips to lake this week. I know what the real problem is, I'm not going to let ruin another day. :D
