sometimes no replies are better than a bunch. everyone has their own oppinions on whats good. myself i like alpine and clarion for head units and alpine, mb quart, and jl audio for speakers. but we sell those brands and i might be a tad bias. go to a respected audio shop n listen, buy what your ears like. as you get older (i am an old fart lol) you lose the abilty to hear higher frequencies, so i tend to choose a "brighter" speaker than a 20 year old would
