About 2 years ago I installed a Pyle marine cd player and 4 speaker setup in my boat. It was a complete kit I found on ebay, complete with waterproof box, speakers, wiring, etc. I've used it about 4 times since then. I'm putting a new interior in the baot now, and the other day when I was in there working on the seats, I decided to listen to some tuneage. I installed the removable face plate, and it powered right up. All the buttons light up and appear its working, but the only buttons that work now are the power, scan, and Mono/stereo buttons. Nothing else will work, no volume, tuning, etc?

Put the face player on and disconnect the fuse for a few minutes. See if resetting it helps.

I too had a Pyle, & decided that's exactly what they are a pyle.
Check the pin's were the face attatches to the main unit, they get loose & won't make good contact. I finally just attached the face to the unit with a screw.

Use a pencil eraser and clean the pins on the face and the pads on the head unit, see if that fixes you up....
