CD player location on a 1998 Nitro lx 700

Does anybody have some pictures of how they installed a cd player system in a nitro lx 700, or similar? I'd like to mount the speakers under the drivers and passenger seat, but dont know where to put the head unit.

A lot of head units (called radios years ago) have CD capabilities in them and so where ever you decide to place the head unit will be your CD install also. However, with USB, and Bluetooth capabilities now, I would forgo a CD player and opt for either a simple USB or Bluetooth capability and then you don't have to worry about CD's laying all over the place. JMHO :noidea:

On a boat like yours, the driest place is under the dashboard. You will want dry....

FWIW, I never found CDs to be real robust when exposed to the elements on a boat. Cassettes lasted much longer, and could survive salt spray and rain.

My current experiment is to record lots of music on a SD card and leave it installed in the player, under the splash cover.
