I’m in the middle of my rebuild. Stringers down. Sanded tops ready for the deck going in this weekend. foam in(pour in with some low spots). Last night it rained and my cover failed. I didn’t have the cover strapped in as it has never failed me. Well. The water collected in the middle of it possibly because I didn’t have it strapped in and well. Caused a a quite a bit of water in the boat. I was able to take the cover like a bag and get the mass of it out. Then dapped wet spots with towels and I have most of the water out. I’m just wondering because some of my sanded exposed stringers got exposed to the water if today’s good sunny day will dry her up and I have nothing to worry about. Just wanted to share as well because it’s so unsettling even though I’m thinking this won’t induce rot after drying all day in 80 degree sunny weather.
