Bet you'll need Verizon at the LAKE, Bassy but hope it works out for you. Glad this was not a life or death decision! Post start date 3/26/04, whew! :D

I agree, roaming charges can get nuts! My mobile service charges...get this....79 cents a minute! BTW, it's Cingular, you know , the service with 600 anytime, 3000 nights/weekends. The only best part is that unused anytime minutes get rolled over into the next month.<br /><br />The bad part about the roaming charge was when I went on vacation, was just on the border of my calling area, made a 15 minute call and got whacked for the whole 15 minutes as a roam...gees. The bad part was that the phone did not flash up the little 'Roaming" icon when I left my calling area (programming error by dealer..or so I was told)...bummer.<br /><br />So I guess the bottom line is , "Know your calling area" and be sure the the "roaming" icon works.

Nope, no life or death. Just convenience. I'm careful about monthly bills. Better make sure I'll use it before I'll commit to one. This way no bills and no commitment. My kind of deal. <br />Bassy
