Anyone been to center hill lake in middle TN? I have been reading about it and it seems like its probly the best lake in TN for pretty much everything. There are also a few waterfalls you can boat up to.
Just wondering if anyone as been?

This is supposed to be a great boating lake, not sure about the water falls though. Is this the lake that is pretty far down to repair the damn?

Its a great lake. Its deep and only a few people have grandfathered dock permits (including Alan Jackson -- chattahooch my arss!), so most of the shoreline is pristine. The coves go on for every and because of the rocky shore do not get ruff for skiing. This is good because you will see a ton on inboards and v-drives making huge wakes. Several of the coves can easily handle several ski boats, so you can always find a place for water sports.

The water level has to be up to get to the water falls.

Monitor the situation, though, because like the damn on Cumberland, they are threatening to keep the lake real low for damn repairs. However, this won't keep it from being a great lake to boat on, just check the 411 on the launch ramps first, as well as give up on the water falls.
