Re: Century Coronado: Foobiehazzie Restore

Well I've made good progress over the Christmas break. Throttle and shift cables, steering cable, wiring harness, exhaust fittings, platform brackets, exhaust hose, belts, starboard exhaust manifold, bilge pump, and new hose are all reinstalled. Carpet is next.

The interior has been reinstalled and she's in the barn till spring. Only a few things to tidy up in the spring and we'll splash her for another season! Looking forward to making some noise in Dale Hollow this summer!

Splashed! 5/11/2013

She's finished and is running smooth. It wasn't an ideal day to be on the water, but we had to get the dock and lifts in and get ready for summer.

I love these Coronados.

Tell me more about the "cooler" in the floor up by the front seats.

I have always been a fan of the old glass Century inboards and I am very impressed with what you did with yours. I just bought my first project boat and first Century, an 89 Coronado (I had a line on an 89 Resorter when the Coronado came up so I apologize for my login being 89 Resorter.....joined IBoats.com in between the two boats). Anyway, I am just fixin, to get ready, to get started on mine but I would like to ask you what the four bolts are for that show in one of your transom pictures just below the Foobiehazzie? My 89 has the same bolts but I could not see the other end with the gas tank in the way.

Looks like the anchor point for the lift/tow eye:

Duh...... guess the outside of the boat was so pretty I missed looking close enough at the inside pics to answer my own question. Thanks JBCurt00!
