I dont think they have been discontinued but anyway, at Car Quest Auto ask for "828M" That is the number for the same plug. Alot cheaper then West marine or similar stores.

You can get them at NAPA. I just bought some recently.

It's unlikely they have been discontinued. Bombardier has these plugs stocked at all their parts warehouses. Part # 509925. They consider this a "most active" part.

I just had my outboard overhauled and had Champions in it. Mechanic threw them away and basically told me if I wanted him to work on my boat to not get anymore! Told him wth, my boat is a Champion! lol

What was his rationale for NOT liking the Champion plugs? Did he decide he's smarter than the company that designed the motor?

Re: Champion plugs discontinued

Champions work fine but that "company that designed the motor" bit is somewhat a red herring. That was 30 to 40+ years ago and there have actually been advances in engineering since then and even a few spark plug advances.

Well...now you now that the plugs are NOT discontinued. You can order them online if you aren't near a NAPA store.
