Would anybody know where I could find info on this subject. I am pretty positive I can use power trim/tilt from another Mercury outboard of same horse power, but not positive. My Boat been in family since 1980, im rebuilding it now, the old evinrude that was on there finally died and it sat for 2 years because I pipeline. The rebuild has started and I bought the mercury 40hp got it for 350$. That's just the motor,nothing else came with it. The manual tilt has to go. Waiting on reply from Mercury, just seems there are no answers anywhere.
