changing dash panel?

changing out all seats, gauges, carpet, etc. am changing the dash panel and would like any recommendations on what to use. this looks to be plastic covered with wood-grain sticker......backed by fiberglass covered plywood. thinking about ordering guitar pickguard material and cutting it to fit unless someone knows where to buy this material from.
going with either cream or dark maroon.
