Changing Fuel Filter on 5.0L EFI

Any suggestions on how to remove the spin on filter that some goober really over torqued when it was changed last? Would not budge using standard filter wrench.

When all tools have failed, like when the filter wrench has crushed and ripped the filter i have pushed a flat head through the side of the filter and spun it off.

i realize i am gonna catch some crap for this. I am not saying its ideal but it will work. i have had to do it to fuel and oil filters. i push the screw driver in one side to the other.

Try two wrenches for extra leverage...worked for me this weekend...

That is what I use for oil also. It is adjustable so you can make a lot of contact on the filter. You can really get some good torque on it.
