Changing Impeller/throttle in forward?? Can it stay there

So yesterday I was changing my impeller, I put in forward/gear. Once the foot was off I noticed some issue that I needed to deal with or find exactly what they are. Well I have those issues sorted now, but my question is......the boat has been sitting all night and more than likely I wont be putting the drive back on until mid this week. It is in gear full throttle, will this flood or mess anything up?
