changing oil for 350 volvo penta

i need to change my oil for my inboard 350 volvo penta engine i heard that you have to suck it out from the dip stick. i was wondering if thats the oil way to change the oil or is there a oil plug under the engine i can take off????

Since all Volvo 350's aren't the same, you might want to add a full model number of your 350.

I don't really know to much about Inboard motors where would I find the full model number ?

My GM # is on the front of the block, and under the starboard head. It is horizontal, so look down for it. The only other Volvo engine I've seen had it's number on the rear, port side, and horizontally too, if I remember right. That's where the vast majority of them are.
