Changing oil on AQ125A?

The manual I downloaded calls for sucking the engine oil out through the dipstick tube. Is there a better way to change the engine oil?

Also, does anyone have a part number for a compatible oil filter (preferably one I can pick up from Wal-Mart)?

I would like you to keep in mind as you read this that I am not a boat expert. I have changed the oil in my boat twice with the sucking the oil out through the dipstick tube. When the oil is warm it comes out rather quickly, and i was using a hand pump. There are numerous posts on this site related to changing your oil. A quick search will bring up quite a few. I am sure that the professionaly will say to get a marine oil filter. I don't believe they sell them at WalMart. If you do have your old filter, there are cross reference charts online to show you which one is compatible.
Again, I would like to remind you to take into consideration that I am a newbie to boating.

I made Myself a funnel out of PVC pipe so that I can just open the oil plug and it goes out the boat plug hole. Works for me.

I use one of the pump through the dipstick method, with a warmed up engine it works pretty well. You can get a oil filter from an auto parts store, should be interchangeable with the vp part. I believe that the engine is based on a volvo b20 or b21 I forget which. maybe do a search on this site that is where I saw that designation here.
