changing teleflex ends

Well long story short, purchased a boat no motor. the control was a merc and I have an evinrude. I purchased the evinrude control box and want to use the teleflex cables that are on the boat as they are brand new. The only problem is they have ends that connect to a merc. I seen on this website that you can buy johnson/evinrude ends for teleflex. Just by looking at the current merc ends on them now, all I see is a small round pin. How do you pull the merc ends off or is it even possable?

My control box gears were badly worn and I needed a part. $28 and a new part delivered or call around so I did... found a marina that had a full warehouse of used parts... long story short I bought the box I needed with both cables and the big power sleeve all in great condition for $30... Check around U'll find the right parts u need!!! U'll be happier in the end!!!

some of the pins are allen screws, and the hole is filled with crap.
