if you can suspend the motor you can just remove the transom bracket closest the pump.

ok well i should have done this before i ordered the motor but i didnt think it would work .... but it did .... hit it with a hammer till it works again <br />should i return the new one or wait and replace it later in the winter ??

if you hit it you have likely broken the permanent magnets inside and it will fail sooner rather then later.

so i broke it more ..... but it works again ... not like i got the sledge hammer out and went to work on it ....
