Re: Changing to a 4 blade

One item I checked on in some of my data is that the Vengeance vents more easily than quite a few other SS in that class. Remember this..the Vengeance is just a glorified std. aluminum prop, molded in SS. an entry level prop if you will. Not bad, just a very general coverage prop that won't bend as easily as alum.
This has nothing to do with your tach/ speed/pitch issues not matching up, and to be honest, there is one of those variables that is still inaccurate. We need to find which it is.

Ok. I will run some more tests the next time I am out and I will report back with the results.

1 note on the Enertia..it was built with a purpose in mind, and they also found it worked quite well in other area of application as well, and it does do a good job, but I still have 2 other props(different brands) that will top the 20P Enertia in shear speed, and 1 of them is a 19P, the other, a 20P and all 3-bld SS.
I think for what the prop was designed to do, it's going to be a top-of-the-line prop. When you start sliding away from it's intended purpose, it starts to take a back seat to some.

Kenny - well put, and I agree...

Not everyone has top speed as #1 priority, though.

I guess you can tell - I love that prop!!
