I don't know how your water pump kit comes but make sure you replace the bottom of the water pump too. My kit didn't come with it and I had to ask for it.
When I look at the schematics it shows part 18 as the water pump base
There is some seals around there too below and above the water pump base im seeing, I have not dealt with these before but if it's an easy replacment I would do it while you have it opened.
Again I dont know if your kit already comes with it mabey someone can confirm this.
