I've seen this called "the boating bible". it has been around forever and has like 1000 pages. i have $30 in W.M. gold rewards and they got it on sale 1/2 price for $30. should i go for it? figured it would give me something to do this winter. maybe i wont embarrass myself next year docking and can actually take my wife out to dinner at a dockside restaurant.

Go for it, just remember, it will give you the knowledge you need, it is still up to you to get the experience.
