I just charged 2 batteries, and at the end of the charge, I put a meter on each one. It read 13.5 volts. 3 days later, without anything hooked up, The charge went down to 12.5. Is this normal?
Yes, 12.5 volts indicates a full charge on a 12volt battery.
Its common for the battery to register higher right after a good charge, this voltage will dissapate normally after a few hours., or almost immediatly when a load is applied.
