I was just curious if there were many people on this forum who frequent these waters? During the summer there are countless boats and people running all over our end of the bay. We have had waterfront property in our family on Chaumont Bay for 40+ years now, and if anyone knows the history of the land up there. We have some of the old Thompson Farm land towards the isthmus and Point Peninsula State park. Its has undergone major upgrades since being purchased back in the early 1970's. Even though we are on Chaumont bay, our mailing address is Three Mile Bay.
Back when I was a young sprout I would spend all of my summer recess from school here up till I was 16 and forced to get a job. I thought I was the luckiest kid ever having this amazing summer time retreat and avoiding the hot muggy summers back home in Syracuse.
Couple pictures looking out..
... and this is why I will be getting a hoist for my new boat...Darn ice. We normally have left our rail way in from year to year and once in a while it will bent one small piece which can be torched and pounded straight again. Well last spring it completely destroyed it...
I think I saw someone else on here down near the actual village of Chaumont.
