Where can I get cheap trailer tires? (not the small ones you can get from walmart)

Price depends on size of tire. Size of tire depends on weight of load being carried by trailer. Three 4.80x12 tires should run around the $150 for a tire only set. Those same sized tires mounted on a rim run at 65.xx bumping the price up to around $195 + S/H


The cheapest way to obtain new tires would be by purchasing only the rubber and having the tires remounted on your existing rims. Most tire places wont work with anything under 12" though.

Cheap is not necessarily the best way to go. Make sure you have the correct load rating for the weight you will be carrying and do not use car tires.

This surprised me and maybe you'll have the same experience. I checked out all the options on the internet when my last set was due. Found the best price and then went to the local Goodyear tire store to see what they had to say. I got the exact same tires, mounted, new valve stems and balanced, old tire disposal for the same price as the internet price BEFORE SHIPPING CHARGES!

Even tho I don't have a real expensive boat I would not want to be pulling it around on cheap tires. Have you ever had to change a flat on your trailer along side the road? It ain't fun and your bumper jack won't work.

NTB says they can get anything made of rubber and will price match
