check engine light & warning buzzer on 97 Johnson 50 hp 2 stroke.

I have a 97 Johnson 50 2 stroke. The check engine light and warning buzzer goes off a frequent times and speeds. It stays on for a few seconds then shuts off. I have good water flow and oil injection working. Engine is running fine as this happens. Could it be a bad sensor or something else?

Usually the ck eng light turnsnout to be a bad systemncheck guage on that model engine.

I do not think your motor uses the "Check Engine" sensor. Check Engine is a vacuum in the fuel sensor, and only V6 motors have them.

This is correct. The same sys check gauge services several types of outboards, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, ficht and etec. Not all features for each motor apply.
