Checking For Water In Boat Floor?s Windows X Water Logged! Under the center and rear seat's stands were areas of concern or to compare. A problem since 1985 w/o patters or reasons, except after winter storage or heavy rain (1969 14 or 15' Raycraft). It's still a question as to when but recent rains and windows w/o fishing showed some indications. The water appears to be entering below the floor from the bilge area (past the plug below the floor?s area) when the bilge plug is not pulled. The boat is trapped but I guess not well to blowing rain and was stored inside before my purchase. Would condensation cause about 2 gallons of water over the winter if the plug is not removed from the floor?s area to drain? My initial recent pics showed signs of moister/dampness vs water drained. The rear window had too much moisture on it to see through and was removed for the pics.
Strange Testing! I added 2 gallons of water and saw no signs in the windows with the boat basically level vs raised (as I store to drain with bilge plug out. This has worn me and the boat?s rear floor to weak/softness over the years. Windows are 4? dia beveled 1/8? Lexan Plastic siliconed over 1.25-1.5? dia whole-saw holes (very short pilot drill w/whole saw).
