Chevy 2.8 V6 question

Hey There<br /><br />I read the other post about this motor. Intriguing. Don't really want a 350hp motor. Nor do I want to spend $12 grand. If I get one of these motors for a boat that previously had an outboard, what parts are needed? Where can you get them? no expert here, However I have read some posts on this subject.<br /><br />Always they say it can be done...but at what cost...Balance of the weight of the engine....transom....etc....they say it is not worth the time and money....they say to just sell that boat...and buy one with the engine you want.<br /><br />Would be some project though. Good Luck.

Hi Mike<br /><br />Thank you for answering. I had heard that about buying a boat with the motor I want. The prob is that I would just want the HP. The engine was just a nice idea to go with a project in my feeble mind at this moment. <br /><br />thanks<br />Billy Bob
