Last night around 6PM the wind picked up and the temprature went from
0c/32f to 10c/50f in about an hour or less (barometric preasure 99.5 kp).
The wind sounded like a freight train blasting through the trees, I think our little home weather station said we had winds around 40 KMH and gusted to 80 KMH, and of course the trees came down taking power out from 10 PM till 0130 AM PST.

What a nice warm night, warm enough to keep the door open and air this place out a little as long as we kept the stove going.
Today I guess all I have to do is go and pick up all the broken fir bows and branches off the driveway.
(with coffee cup raised) Here is to spring, may it show its shiney face early this year. :)
