there is a pin thru the lever holding it. sometimes you have to remove the slow speed needle to get those carbs out.

thanks for the response tashas daddy. well there seems to be no clip underneath the choke lever . The manual sasy to remove the air silencer but shows no picture my carb has a thing that looks like an air filter on it is this the ..."air silencer" doh:confused:. the only other way i can see getting the choke arm out is by removing the throttle pin. anymore help is greatlyappreciated.

this is turning into one huge can o worms:mad: i forsee me redoing the low end seals again because i must have screwed up after tryiig last time because it still leaking gear out were the prop is. sounds like the prop seal(i assume cause its leaking right there ah i dun no??)l didnt sit or something any suggestions on this 2nd conundrum is greatly appreciated>

The air filter looking thing is the silencer. Man you need a manual.

Pull the slow speed link lever from the slow speed needle. Remove the screws from the silencer. and pull it towards you. Unbolt the carburetor and slide it toward you till it comes off the studs, then remove it from the silencer. No need to undo the choke lever.
