I have a 1990 Merc 9.9 2-stroke. It was a gift, had been sitting covered for 20 years. I cleaned it up, it runs great. Except for a bad stumble when I turn the throttle in forward or reverse. It's fussy about starting. So I bought a kit, removed the card and cleaned everything nicely, installed kit went well, but I can't seem to get the choke device installed properly. It goes in the slot, one way, but I can't get it to engage the choke arm/prime arm. I'm missing something, I think. Could use some help on that. Thx
