I have a 6.1m/20 feet daycruiser weighing about 1.1 tons/2400 lbs fitted with a Yamaha 200 HPDI. I need a new prop, i used to have a ballistic 14 3/8x21 3 blade. Although the boat went fine with that prop, acceleration pretty good and about 48knots in top speed, it would be fun trying something else, what about a four blade? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mattias

Hi ivar,
yes it's a yamarin 6110, how did you know? :)
Do you have a suggestion for a prop? I was thinking about 14-1/4x22 3XL Ballistic, however, i recently mailed Michigan Wheel for advice but they haven't replied yet.

/Mattias

Re: Choosing new prop

I remember reading that the 6110 was doing 48knots with a 200 HPDI. Myself I have a Yamarin 5940 with a F115 Yamaha.
No idea on what prop to recommend, but also check out Powertech and Turbo propellers.
What rpms were you running at WOT btw?
