I'm trying to decide what prop size to run I'm currently running a 23p on a alpha one drive and new to this so much help appreciated to me it seems like it's slow outta the water and like I have a lot of prop slip or something like that one engine runs about 3100 and the other much more to maintain being on plain and plus I hit something in the water and broke a prop off

Start by fixing the outdrive you broke

What RPM were you getting at WOT?

The outdrive didn't break and on the left engine was around 3200 and right engine is around 3800

Are both props the same size? Do both drives have the same ratio? Are both engine carbs opening up fully?

if this is your WOT readings......something is wrong

Yeh they are the same and as for the carbs I'm not sure I'm gonna check them today

That's what I thought also it should be around 4500 I think

look at the stickies at the top of the forum. look for troubleshooting low WOT.

could be bad gas
could be carb issues
could be other fuel system issues
could be low compression
could be the flappers are laying in the bottom of the y-pipe
could be wrong ratio outdrives
could be throttle cables not adjusted
