christmas present for dad who has everything

my father has a 17' tracker with a 25hp and a 9.9hp kicker is there a product to connect the two so he can use the steering wheel with the kicker....where can i find it and what is it called.....thx patrick

Yes there is such a thing. I'm not sure what it is called exacly, as I have never used one. I have seen them at Gander Mountain and also Bass Pro Shop. It is just an adjustable rod that goes between the two motors. Pretty simple, actually.

Does he really need a kicker with a 25? I would think that the 25 could run slow enough for him at idle. But yes i think Iboats sells linkages like that will hook between motors.

we have the EZsteer hooked from our I/o to our 9.9 (love it - perfect gift for the troller/fisherman). they make them to order so be sure to order now. You will need to get measurements so they can make the brackets/connectors. It's a bar that connects between the two motors -- using the same type of quick-connect as in air tools..

here's one made from a broomstick from a guy here on lake erie... he hooked this up and then used a bow mounted electric motor as his auto pilot. quite cool. Just wanted to show you this to get an idea.
