Can't decide what to get her.

I'm trying to choose among a DeWalt hammer-drill, an 8-horse air compressor, or an Ariens snow thrower. Last year I gave her a fifteen horse lawn tractor and the year before a box of Montecristo Vintage Churchills.

What do you guys think?

The humidor must be empty by now, maybe it's time for a refill.

But then again, the snow thrower will give her a clean walk and drive for many many years. Get her that and you won't have to buy her anything till 2035.

No comment on the drill. :nono:

I say get her at least 2 out of the 3 options you listed. You don't want her to label you as "cheap".

I can't stop laughing! Why don't you do like I do and give here your debit card with a limit and she can get her own gift. She's even willing to wrap it herself. At least she'll get exactly what she wants!!

Basically, don't give her a blender or a vacuum. Not quite as bad as a bathroom scale, but close.

I'd say the compressor. She could probably use the exercise shoveling snow and swinging a hammer:^0

Re: Christmas present for the lady...?

My wife wants to get me a snow blower ... I think it is because she is tired of shoveling while I am out plowing snow. I tell her how hard I am working pushing all that snow around, but I don't think she is buying sitting in a warm truck with a thermos of coffee as being hard work.:hopelessness:

I just asked my wife and she said save your money for the divorce lawyer.

OK, let me get this straight. You're in the snow removal biz but you make your wife take care of the home snow? I can see a distinct possibility of her getting grumpier over time.

Reminds me of a story from the old home place. There was a retired farmer and his wife up the road from us. They had a big yard, right at an acre or more. One day another neighbor dropped by one hot day and there was Merle, sitting in a rocker on the front porch with a glass of iced tea and Marie was out in the yard pushing the mower back and forth like there was a pack of wolves behind her. the neighbor said, "Gosh Merle, Marie shouldn't be out there working that hard on a day like this." Merle said, "That's right. I told her she should take a break every now and then."

Similarly I was thinking you should get her whichever weighs the most so she can't throw it at your head, or the 1 that fits in the vehicle you'll be driving when you are asked to get the F out....

But what do I know about wives

, apparently not much....
I think mine might like to get a few less boats & motors in the boat yard for christmas.....

Unfortunately, that christmas wish won't be coming true.

Does boat brightwork & bling count as jewelry?

Sleep w/ 1 eye open my friend, sleep w/ 1 eye open.......

Never mind guys. I finally thought of the perfect gift.

I'm giving her a subscription to the NFL network, and I'm putting an old TV in the kitchen so she can watch while she cooks.

She'll LOVE it..!

Pick the one that'll do the least damage to you when she says 'stick around while I try this out...'
