Chrysler 20 and chrysler 9.9

Hello, I have two chrysler outboards, when I removed the carb bowl on both the float broke! In half! Can I glue it??:embarassed: Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks guys!

NO do not glue, it would not work. If it is the black plastic float..... no chance. The fuel eat up the glue.
Check out ebay for spare carbs. I think for the 9,9 you can use a float from a 6, 7, 10 or 15Hp engine.
The 20Hp has another typ of carb then the smaller Hp. But I think there are a couple of sales on ebay that fits your engines.

Thanks, its the foat float, the thing is both floats from both engines are the same. The 9.9 is a 1969 will a newer float like say 1978 work?

Ok, both float are same. Email Franz at Franz Marine he will help you. I think later Chrysler 9,9 10 and 15Hp will fit also.
