The other engine i can use for spares as most of it is there but by the looks of it i need to get some parts for the fuel pump and i suspect for the carb as they were looking a bit grotty can someone give me a site were i can get these parts from thank you

Re: Chrysler 20 hp model 204HA 1970

Start with the easy stuff, Matt.

Take all the battery cables off at both ends and scrub them shiny. Then reattach. The connections can look good and be tight but still be bad. Try her out. That is often all you need to do.

If that didn't help next connect a set of jumper cables directly from the battery to the starter hot stud (+) and the starter case (-). If the starter runs fast replace the solenoid.

If the starter is still real slow take it off and to a starter rebuilder. They can rebuild it for a lot less than a new or rebuilt one.

Let us know what you find. :)
