Usually the 6 had a tank on top? Some way older models had a pump as part of the carb.
There anything like a pump on the motor?
Post a pic of the motor/both sides and front.
Model and serial#s will help too.valleysales@charter.net Valley 989) 366-8178 Sales This guy has a bunch of older Chryslers.J

The six is a two cylinder water cooled engine. It has a small fuel pump located at the top of the bypass covers. If you can attach the linkage and if the carb has a float, then it should work.

Let's get real! Yeah, you can port it and develop more power but realistically, how much can you expect? 7 HP? 8 HP? Want more power? Cheaper and easier to buy a used 9.9. Face it--these engines were designed as basic power plants to get you from point A to point B. Basic small hull fishing engines.

Drilling the pipe? there is no pipe to speak of. Exhaust gases pass down the leg and out the snout. very little restriction there. You can make and install a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick plate to space out the exhaust cover, thereby increasing exhaust chest volume for --oh, on that engine, 1/4 to 1/2 HP more. But is it really worth it?
