this is a double post from chrysler forum. looking at sail boat, this is the aux engine. never own or worked on one. dependable or anchor?

Friend here had one on his sailboat, did a lot of coughing, spitting back. He never takes care of any thing, so I can't blame the motor. Sold it to another guy in the marina, and he got it running pretty good. Good enough price, I'd get it and go through it

i'm scrapping this . seller will not come to terms. time to build one.
