chrysler 9.9

i have an old chrysler 9.9 engine that someone gave me and i need to know what year it is. i read some other postings and found a website called http://www.marinshopen.se/guide/chrguide.htm <br />but my model number was not listed on that. <br />the model num. is 92HE <br />SERIAL NUM. IS 4878<br />i just got this thing running but i still need some more parts. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Are you sure that E couldn't be a B? I've got an old Chiltons manual around here somwhere. It gives model # up to 1972. I'll look it up.

yea i am sure, i must have looked at that "E" fourty times last night! i will try to get a pic of it tonight. thanks for the reply

What about mailing Dave@hurrikain.com .He's an expert on Chryslers. I don't know if this helps but, in my manual it lists a 706HE and a 707HE. They are for 1972 models. The HA is an American model. The HB is a Canadian model. It doesn't say what model the HE is.
