I am having problems finding a carb repair kit for a '66 Chrysler 50hp model #50661. Does anyone have any idea of another carb that will bolt on and work properly ? My original one has the square fuel bowl on the bottom . I think that the main things that I need are the needle and seat .

Re: Chrysler Carburetor

I only had one carb with the cast aluminum square bowl and I don't remember if the venturi was 1 3/16 or 1 5/16. HOWEVER: almost any WB carb from and two cylinder larger than 35 HP or any three cylinder engine will bolt right up and work.

Anyway, if all you need is the needle and seat, and if it is the screw in type, I have 30-40 carbs. Post a poto of the seat/needle assembly and I'll see if I have one to match. OR, send me a private message if you want a whole carb.

Please advise me on cost of carb and shipping charge to South Carolina.
I am unable to send pictures because I can't get them to go through .
My carb is as follows :
Tillotson OM27B
The seat is screw in with a rubber insert in the bottom and the overall length of the seat is 5/8".
The needle is plastic with an overall length of 21/32" .
The venturi is 1 1/2" inside diameter .
The mount holes are 2 3/8" on center.
The choke and fuel inlet are on the same side (on right, looking at engine).
The throttle is on the other side .

Also: Where can I find a fuel pump kit (or at least a diaphragm) for mine. Mine has six screws that go through it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Napa auto parts has a marine catalog that should have what you need. I was able to get parts for my '68 35hp chrysler three years ago without a problem.
