Re: Chrysler factory service manuals

I bought a real Chrysler Outboards 1962-84 Repair Manual here at iboats. It covers all 3.5-150HP, 1-4 Cylinder, 2-Stroke Models. It may not be a Clymer, which I can't find, but it is better than a disk. In the long run it will pay for itself in that you won't have to play the guessing game while changing good parts.

Re: Chrysler factory service manuals

Hi,
this is Andries from Amsterdam,Holland. I recently bought a Chrysler 25 hp outboard from about 1975. I'm now looking to buy a manual, but there are many around. Can anyone suggest wich one I should buy? I need some good information on hooking up a steering mechanisms and remote throttle, preferably with lots of pictures as some of the technical terms are lost in Dutch translation.
thanks,
Andries

The overwhelming majority of those with experience, highly recommend factory service manuals. Clymer and Seloc are better than nothing. If you can get one, go factory.
