Looking at the earlier photos, you're going to have to do some serious repairs to the glass there at the bottom of the transom before replacing the wood portion of the transom. That crack is a serious one. I can't advise you on how to proceed with that, but post something up in the Boat Restoration area. There are some really good glass guys up there.

 I saw it, it looks like its in better shape than mine. It doesnt have the cool bow light and the "hood scoop" shape to the bow. If nobody bids on it maybe he will sell me the steering wheel.

I have 2 days off and its only supposed to rain a little and be over 45 degrees... a tropical heat wave for NY!:D I want to build something to support the hull and get the boat off its trailer. Does anybody have any ideas/ suggestions?

Well, i got he boat supported and finally got a little time to work on it. Do I have to grind out ALL the old fiberglass? How do I know when its good enough?
