hi, I have a chyrsler 55 Hp that was given to me , but I don't know anything about it.<br />I would like to know what year it is?<br />It's model 559 HG and ser. number 5232.<br />I am having problems with the engagement when I shift into foward. Hi Grader<br />You have a 1976 model. Sounds to me like something is out of adjustment. I suggest getting a manual for your motor. IBoats has them at the bottom of the page or you might find a copy at the library.

Thank you alcan, I will do that.<br />I did find someone close by that is a friend that can do the work for me on it.. I thank you for the help and letting me know what year it was..<br />makes it a little easer to get info in it.<br />mike
