I saw an ad some time ago for a clamp-on air delfector that you could mount on the top edge of your windshield. It deflected air away from your face when you were standing at the helm. However, I cannot find it again. Does anyone remember the product/ad?

I've seen 'em and I heard they work great... don't know where to get em' though.
I googled it without any luck but I only had a few minutes. Call West Marine (don't they have everything?)... there was a reference to a wind deflector in the catalog but there wasn't a picture. It was a 'Taylor-made' product.
That Nordic in the picture does 85 mph... and the deflectors are still there... :)

I 've seen their ads in the back of Extreme Boats or Powerboat, one of the two.

Anybody remember the bug deflectors from the 40s and 50s?
About 4 to 6 inches square clamped on hood ornament/chrome hood strip.
They actually worked to keep the windshield clear from way out near the tip of the hood. Some had a little propeller just for fun.
