Hi everyone,
I am a high school science teacher in CT. WE are encouraged to decorate our rooms to add a personal touch, but the cost is our responsibility. Since I love the water (I spend a lot of time on Long Island Sound) I thought it might be nice to decorate my room with a "nautical" theme. My friend is into flying and he managed to get a lot of free material (posters, displays, freebies, etc.) from the local airport. Any idea where I can get some material donated?

You could probably check with your local coast guard. Also i am from that area and like to download pictures of the area light houses and frame them. They look good in color or black and white.;)

Check in with your local boat dealer. MANY suppliers give away free posters and calendars..... manufacturers are constantly replacing there posters and I bet the dealer just trashes the old ones.
