My 1987 classic 50 trim motor is running only one direction. I don't see any leaks or concerns evident. But, I don't understand the electrical things so well. It seems that the main cord from the motor runs up into the cowling and then? The switch on the shifter shows power to just one terminal as well.
Any easy to follow instructions on how to trace and find the problem electrically....all input appreciated, links, videos or whatever.
I hope this unit may not need an overhaul, just wiring fixed....
